After years of armed conflict, unexploded and stockpiled mines and other explosive remnants of war continue to pose safety risks to populations in various parts of the worlds. Through cooperation with community members, DDG removes and destroys these items in order to reduce accidents and prevent their future use as tools of violence.

In addition to active demolition operations, DDG provides mine risk education to community members in order to impart safe conduct in potentially hazardous areas.
