Coordination and liaison with national authorities and relief and development organisations is key to ensure that Mine Action and Armed Violence Reduction programmes are coordinated with national plans for recovery and transition towards social and economic development.
DDG is a member of the International Committee to Ban Land Mines and the Cluster Munition Coalition.
DDG is a board member of The Survey Action Centre, the IMAS Review Board, and the Advisory Board of the Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining (GICHD). DDG is also part of the Expert Reference Group on the development of International Small Arms Control Standards (ISACS) by the UN Coordination Action on Small Arms (CASA).
DDG is active in the Protection Clusters sub-group on Mine Action and cooperates closely with donors, the UN, GICHD, Quaker United Nations Office (QUNO) and other international agencies on policy and programme development within Mine Action and Armed Violence Reduction.
Technical Mine Action training courses are run together with Swedish EOD and Demining Centre and Danish Demining Centre.
