For more than twenty years, Sudan was torn apart by a civil war between the north and the south. An agreement signed in 2005 ended major hostilities between the warring fractions.
The fighting left Southern Sudan littered with Explosive Remnants of War.
Today, Danish Demining Group clears cluster weapons and other Unexploded Ordinance from former battlegrounds throughout the south.
