Twenty-two years of civil war in northern Uganda left the region strewn with landmines and unexploded ordnance.
Children are often tasked with water and firewood collection, tasks that increase their exposure to mines and UXO. To address these risks, the Danish Demining Group conducts daily mine risk education training throughout the region.
