Global Journal rates DRC ninth best NGO in the world
The Global Journal has published the first ever Top 100 NGOs. The Danish Refugee Council is rated in the top-ten.
One of the statements from the presentation of the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) goes as follows: ”The organization’s activities today assist over one million people spanning 30 countries, including programs in some of the world’s most conflicted areas – Somalia, Afghanistan, Iraq and Chechnya."
“As a Danish based organisation implementing our own projects with staff on the ground, it is flattering to be recognized on a list rating the best NGOs in the world, “says Andreas Kamm General Secretary of the Danish Refugee Council.
In the presentation of DRC the Global Journal also states that: “Its admirable commitment to synergy positions the Danish Refugee Council as one of the most effective and trustworthy humanitarian organizations in the field. Realizing the potential to scale impact through collective action, it facilitates collaboration at every opportunity, maintaining durable solutions for conflict-affected people as its bottom-line.”
“I am proud of DRC employees and their commitment in some of the most difficult areas of the world – therefore it is on their behalf I accept this recognition,” says Andreas Kamm.
